Yeah, I bet you left out all the bad
stuff . . . Nope! Contrary to what others would like you to believe, problems do sometimes come up. What's important is how you deal with them. The following is a letter from a BikePro distributor describing a problem with an early version of BikePro. It is followed by my reply, and the final resolution.
" . . . we received a bug report from a customer who down loaded a copy of BikePro from our library. The customer received an error message indicating that two files were missing, and the program could not be installed. Please forward to us any corrections you have for this error . . ."
"Enclosed is the latest version of BikePro that prevents the problem you described. The error has two distinct causes --- the DOS COPY command will not copy a zero length file, and some decompression utilities will not decompress a zero length file. If the BikePro installation kit was copied by the DOS COPY command, or the files were not decompressed properly, the zero length files will be missing."
"I appreciate the opportunity you have given me to correct the problem for you and your customer. Even though the error was not due to a BikePro error, per se, I would like to offer your customer a free BikePro registration for their troubles. Please ask them to reference this problem when they register BikePro."
The customer received the software correction, and registered BikePro -- free of charge.

text of the review.
Note: The following is of review of BikePro v2.3. BikePro v3.0 has not yet been reviewed, but I'm hoping for five stars.
"BikePro for Windows is a performance log for cyclists. Use the button bar to access a daily training log, diet log, and food glossary. The training log tracks the date, terrain, wind, distance and speed of your workouts. Monitor your diet by entering food choices for meals, and change the defaults to suit your regimen. Generate a Source Calorie Analysis report that shows your daily intake of calories. You can also create full diet reports, performance summaries, and daily training reports. Keep track of races and other events with the scheduler. Create graphs for a visual representation of your progress. If you want to monitor your workouts, there is little this program can't do to help you achieve your goals. On-line help is provided, and you can access a calendar, notepad, and calculator."
